Unfortunately, until further notice, tourists who arrive at the international airport have to submit AND a negative covid-19 test AND a 10-day quarantine on arrival.

Until December 20 2020, Kekemba uses the following prices (as long as the srd exchange rate stays stable):
Studio apartment, srd 400 per night with a minimum of 2 nights
The studio apartments are also available for a 1 night stay, price srd 500.
Medium 1 bedroom apartment, srd 450 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.
Large 1-bedroom apartment, srd 550 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.
Large 2-bedroom apartment, srd 650 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.
Boutique 3 bedroom apartment, srd 990 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.

From December 20 2020 till January 5 2021 we charge our normal prices (with a minimum stay of 2 nights):
Studio apartment, euro 47 per night with a minimum of 2 nights
Medium 1 bedroom apartment, euro 53 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.
Large 1-bedroom apartment, euro 64 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.
Large 2-bedroom apartment, euro 75 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.
Boutique 3 bedroom apartment, euro 117 per night with a minimum of 2 nights.

EXTRA INFO:
- No parties.
- Bring your own food and drinks (we have no restaurant and no room service) (supermarket 2 minutes walk).
- Check in between 3 pm and 9 pm, check out between 6 am and 11 am.
- By order of B.O.G. the hot tub has been decommissioned and the hammocks removed.
Receiving 2 guests is free. If these guests also want to swim, a day pass is mandatory (srd 50 pp). Receives if you have more guests than 2, a day pass is also required for these extra guests (srd 50 pp, these guests may also use the swimming pool).
- Maximum number of guests you may receive is 5.



Covid-19

General

  • Changes to our standard payment and cancellation conditions valid from April 25, 2020 to December 31, 2020

    Due to the ever-changing circumstances due to the Covid-19 virus, we have decided to be more flexible with regard to payment and cancellation terms towards our customers. We are cautious that the uncertain conditions will end by the end of 2020.
  • These changed conditions only apply to guests living outside Suriname.

Change in cancellation policy

  • For bookings made before April 1, 2020 with a check-in date before January 1, 2021:
    - Reservations can be canceled free of charge (up to the date of check-in) with a refund of an (advance) payment made (any credit card fees paid will not be returned) if it is impossible to travel to Suriname because national borders and/or airports are closed or because your flight ticket has been canceled (provide proof) or because any quarantine measure makes it practically impossible to take a holiday in Suriname or because you are refused a flight to Suriname (provide proof).
    - Reservations can be moved free of charge to a new check-in and check-out date, with the same length of stay. Your (down) payment will remain valid for this changed booking. If you do not yet have new dates because you want to wait for the covid-19 developments, your (down) payment will simply remain (voucher).
  • For bookings made after March 31, 2020 with a check-in date before January 1, 2021:
    - Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 1 week before check-in.
  • For all bookings with a check-in date after December 31, 2020:
    - Our normal cancellation policy applies, being free cancellation up to 1 month before check-in date.
  • For all bookings, whoever so remains our general cancellation condition that free cancellation up to 1 month before check-in date can be given without giving any reason.

Change in payment terms

  • For (current and new) bookings with a check-in date before January 1, 2021, the entire stay can be paid 1 week before check-in (instead of 20% deposit when making the booking and the remainder 1 month before check-in). A deposit is no longer required. If it is impossible to travel to Suriname because national borders and/or airports are closed or because your flight ticket has been canceled (provide proof) or because any quarantine measure makes it practically impossible to take a holiday in Suriname or because you are on the flight to Suriname will be refused (provide proof), then the full amount of your stay will be refunded (any credit card fees paid will not be returned).

Third-party bookings

  • Guests who have booked through (online) travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

It is to be said that the Kekemba offers the best beds we had since months. Even better then the one we have at home. The couple running the place is easy going and take good care off you.
