From the time of booking to the time of departure, we want to provide you with the service you can expect. We will keep in touch with you after your booking. We will inform you by e-mail about some practical matters such as the entry fee, renting a car, arranging a transfer, booking (domestic) tours and trips. During your stay, your apartment will be cleaned regularly and you will be provided with fresh towels and bed linen. Located just outside the busy city center, on the edge of a park with therein the Paramaribo Zoo, on a no-through road, you will discover the rest you need. Yet conveniently close to the nightlife, shops, banks, shopping malls, etc. By car/taxi a 7 minute drive to downtown (about 11/2 mile from the resort). The cab in Suriname is not expensive, about usd 4 from the resort to centre of Paramaribo, at Europcar and Alamo cars can be rented from USD 40 per day. - Pool, hot tub and hammocks
A nice pool, temperature of the water dependents on the hours of sunshine. Go lasy with your loved one in a hammock or in the evening int the hot tub with candles and a glass of wine. - Safety
Suriname is one of the safest countries in South America and the Caribbean. However, we want leave nothing to chance. The owners live on the resort, the resort is only approachable to guests and people invited by our guests, we have surveillance cameras, the resort is walled with one gateway. Your (rental) car, scooter or bike can be parked free-of-charge in the parking lot located within the walls. - Privacy
Apart from guests of our guests have other people do not have access to the resort. No pool parties on Sunday with all kinds of strange people in the pool and occupying all the chairs. No restaurant beside the pool, so no unknown people look at you when swimming during their eating or unabashedly can watch into your apartment. No wedding parties at the pool which disturb you of half your night rest. - Arranging your stay in the interior

Kekemba is located 2 kilometers from the edge of the historic city center of Paramaribo, which has been on the World Heritage List of Unesco. The buildings are an amalgamation of European architecture and construction techniques with indigenous Surinamese materials and crafts. Because of the unique style, the wooden houses are considered as cultural heritage. The white wooden houses with steep roofs and several windows with wooden shutters make Paramaribo unique. Paramaribo is therefore a good example of the centuries-old ties between the Netherlands and the indigenous cultures and the climate of Surinam. In addition to Dutch influences, there are also accents of the British, the French and the southern states of America. Around 200 historic buildings can be found in the city center, most of which are on the Paramaribo Monument List. - CO2-neutral

My husband and I took an extended stay at Kekemba and enjoyed it immensely. The property is beautiful and great care has been taken to make every apartment feel like home. The owners, John and Lloyd, are very friendly and accommodating. They also offer meals for an extra cost and can suggest and book the best tour packages in Suriname. Mangolaan has a great neighborhood feel and more natural elements than any other neighborhood in Paramaribo. It is located right next to a small forest with walking paths and steps from the Paramaribo zoo. Kekemba has it all..a pool, hot tub, great patio furniture, a grill, etc. Enjoy your time there! We will return!
