- Kekemba Resort Paramaribo gives the I AM AT HOME feeling, which apparently succeeds as regular guests are cooking with Lloyd in the kitchen. Nice chat with the other guests but with your own private, fully equipped and airconditioned, apartment where you can withdraw. We do not have the massiveness of a hotel, so personal attention and rest, a lot of rest on the premisses.
- We also want to offer a good service. This service is not only a clean room and a beautiful pool but we also advise you on the different day and multi-day tours through the different areas of Suriname.

- Having your holiday in the tropical Suriname you can not do without a nice cool pool and a cold fully- airconditioned apartment.
- On the premisses of Kekemba Resort Paramaribo, the following is present:
- The main building containing two apartement and the reception,
- Four buildings containing the other apartments,
- Coverd relax area with hammocks also housing the hot tub,
- Swimming pool,
- Sun terrace and sunbathing area with loungers,
- Tiled parking,
- Unlimited wireless internet,
- Possibility of lending a barbecue.

- Kekemba Resort Paramaribo is centrally located in Paramaribo. Close to the main roads and close to the (entertainment) center of Paramaribo. For those with children, we are walking distance to the zoo which has a nice playground. For those who have been before in Paramaribo: we are located at the edge of the Cultuurtuin, behind the zoo. On short distance from the shops, banks, cafes, restaurants and entertainment. There is public transport available, but it stops early in the evenings. You can better use taxis (USD 4 to the city center) or you can rent a car (from USD 24 per day) or a bike (about USD 39 per week), which is also convenient for trips outside the city.
Safety
- ✨ Suriname is one of the safest countries in South America and the Caribbean. ✨ For extra safety, there are security cameras on the resort, the owners live on the resort.
- What also makes Suriname safe in another field: we have no natural disasters. No hurricanes, no tsunamis, no volcanoes, no oil spills, no earthquakes. In this regard Suriname is, happely, a boring country.

A review on Tripadvisor
At the start of our holiday we spent a couple of nights in the Kekemba Resort in Paramaribo. We were surprised by the warm welcome John and Lloyd gave us. Kekemba is a small, quiet and safe resort, a short drive out of the city center, with a pool and a pretty garden. It gives you the impression of being in the countryside. The apartments are clean and cosy and well equipped. There is a small bar where you can drink local beer and rum and other drinks and also have a snack or a meal.
