General
impression of the reception
- To cancel the booking, please click on the Cancellation Link in your reservation confirmation email.
- Kekemba Resort Paramaribo Online Reservation Service does not charge any cancellation fee for rooms that have not been confirmed. However once your room has been confirmed, you are subject to the cancellation policies as explained below.
- Per cancellation an administration fee of Euro 15 will be subtracted from the money returned.
- It must be clearly understood that any changes in policies will always take precedent over the policy stated here. We will of course inform you clearly and completely if this is the case with your booking.
- We advise to obtain a cancellation and/or travel insurance that covers your stay.
Refund Cancelation Low Season

- 4 Weeks before requested arrival date - Full refund.
- Between 3 weeks & 4 weeks before requested arrival date - 50% Refund
- Between 2 weeks & 1 week before requested arrival date - 25% Refund
- Between 1 week & check in - No Refund
- In case of No show & Early Check out - No Refund
- A fixed administration fee of Euro 15 per cancellation will be subtracted from the refund.
Refund Cancellation High Season

- 5 Weeks before requested arrival date - Full refund.
- Between 5 weeks & 3 weeks before requested arrival date - 50% Refund
- Between 3 weeks & 2 weeks before requested arrival date - 25% Refund
- Between 2 weeks & check in - No Refund
- In case of No show & Early Check out - No Refund
- Even if 1 day of your stay is in the peak season, the whole reservation will be considered as peak season reservation.
- A fixed administration fee of Euro 15 per cancellation will be subtracted from the refund.
High season periods
- 19 October 2024 - 3 November 2024
- 21 December 2024 - 5 January 2025
- 15 February 2025 - 2 March 2025
- 26 April 2025 - 4 May 2025
- 5 July 2025 - 31 August 2025
- 11 October 2025 - 26 October 2025
- 20 December 2025 - 4 January 2026
- Further dates still unknown.
Cancellation procedure for direct bookings
- Click on cancellation link stated in the reservattion confirmation and follow the procedure or send us an email at kekemba@kekemba.info with your reservation number. Your cancellation request will be submitted after the completion of the process. The refund amount shall be calculated & informed to you as per the cancellation policy. Refunds are always done by bank transfer. Any bank charges are for your account.
Cancellation Procedure For bookings via booking engines
- Kekemba Resort Paramaribo can also be booked by several booking engines (booking.com hotels.com expedia.com trivago.com ect). You have to cancel these booking via the booking engine you booked. Kekemba is not allowed to change reservations in booking engines. We will consider each cancellation if it is liable for a refund according to the cancellation policy of the booking engine. Refunds are always done by bank transfer. Any bank charges are for your account. You have to provide us with valid bankaccount information.
Shortening of stay before check in
- Send us an email at kekemba@kekemba.info with your reservaton number. The refund amount shall be calculated & informed to you as per the cancellation policy. At check out the amount will be payed in cash or a refund is being made by bank transfer.
Shortening of stay after check in (early check out)
- No refund. We advise to obtain a cancellation and/or travel insurance that covers your stay.
No Show (Non-use of reservation)
- In case you do not utilize your reservation and fail to contact us to cancel it in a stipulated time period as specified above, we would not be in a position to return you any amount pertaining to your booking. The reason for this is that the room in the resort is booked in your name, and we cannot let the room be occupied by anyone else. The room is held unoccupied awating your (perhaps late) arrival.

Il mio soggiorno presso il Kekemba Resort e' stato davvero piacevole. L'appartamento in cui ho alloggiato era enorme! I proprietari poi sono delle persone davvero affabili, disponibili e pronte ad aiutare gli ospiti ad organizzare le varie fasi del loro viaggio\/soggiorno. Sebbene il resort non sia nel centro di Paramaribo, la piscina vale assolutamente i 5 minuti di taxi (=2 euro) dal centro! Caldamente consigliato.
